Initially I enrolled as a coach to get a discount only (we get a whopping 25% discount!). I had no intention of "selling" products to people. What happened next was unexpected. I had all sorts of friends, family, and coworkers commenting on my recent transformation. They could see the weight I lost, and more importantly, they all saw how much happier and energized I had become. They all wanted to know what I was doing so I told them (21 Day Fix and Shakeology) and many of them wanted to do the program with me. So, that is how I got started with my coaching business in April 2014. I am so thankful for this business which has helped me get in the best shape of my life, and has provided my family with financial freedom.
Why become a coach?
Being a Beachbody customer and coach gave me something that changed my life. I was stressed, overwhelmed, and feeling a bit lost in my life as a new mom. I felt like I was a robot just going through the motions of being a FT working mom with nothing in my life that was FOR ME. Now, still a FT working mom, I am healthier and more inspired than ever before in my life. It's nice earning an income doing something that is so fun and rewarding, but the things that I love most about this business have zero to do with the money. Its really about the changes and experiences I mentioned above, which are priceless.
I believe we all deserve to be happy, healthy and self-confident. That is why I am a huge advocate for the fitness and nutrition solutions that Beachbody has to offer. I KNOW they work. I believe the Beachbody workouts and nutritional products (like Shakeology) can help people achieve optimal health. I believe that these products and the support from coaches can help people embrace their bodies and find their true physical and mental potential.
You do not need to be a fitness/nutrition expert to be a coach. Coaching is all about proving support, accountability and motivation. To be a successful coach you do have to be willing to work on your own health and fitness so that you are a proof the products work.
